Doesn’t that sound great?  Who wouldn’t want to golf for free?  The 8th season on Tour brings about a change to the way we pay out our top finishers at each event.  We have always felt that when you win, you should have your day of golf covered.  We still feel that way but this year we are giving more players the opportunity to have their round paid for.   How will we manage to do that?  Great question!  Read on!

With a “golf for free” approach to awarding the payouts, $15 of the $25 tournament fee will go directly to the cash pot for that event.  The winner of the tournament will be reimbursed their tournament fee plus an extra $25 (should be enough to cover your day, eh?)  The remaining purse will be divided equally amongst the rest of the top finishers giving many more players a chance to “golf for free”.  For example, if 40 players register for an event, the cash pot will be $600.  The 1^st place finisher will take home $85 (if the event cost $60 to enter.)  Players finishing from 2^nd to 9^th will receive $60 and they will have “golfed for free.”  There will be $35 left over in the pot and it will be carried to the end of the season to increase the pot for the year end Chapter Finals.  We will still offer optional gross and net skins games as an opportunity to make a little extra dough.

To celebrate this new “golf for free” approach, we will refund one lucky member their membership fee if they sign up/renew and pay by April 16th.  Everyone that has already paid will be entered in the draw.  Click on the button below to pay by PayPal or feel free to mail a cheque made payable to me with “Mulligan Tour” written on the memo line.  New memberships are only $49 and renewals are still $25.
