Camlachie, ON – Henry Bekaan has made it 2 wins in a row. Bekaan was the winner at the Innerkip Highlands event on May 26 and again this past weekend at Sawmill Creek. It appears that Henry’s game has returned to make him the hottest player on Tour right now. Bekaan shot a net 60 to easily win the first round of the “Battle of the Creeks.” Finishing 2nd was Kris Harris with a net 66. The rest of the top 5 finished with net 68 and the placements had to be settled through retrogression. Finishing 3rd was Sawmill Creek member, Terry Lumley with Les Boggs and Dennis Garbutt coming in at 4th and 5th respectively.
The Bob Martin Long Drive winners were Rory Edwards (#7) and Rodd Lucier (#11). Closest to the pin winners were Kevin Gander (#2), Henry Bekaan (#5), Eric Christiansen (#9), Rodd Lucier (#13 & #17) and Jason Dunlap (15). Six Net Skins were won by four players for a payout of $40/skin. Shaun Seeley (#3), Jason Dunlap (#4), Mike Hunter (#8) and Eric Christiansen (#9) each won $55 in the Gross skins game. Eric and Rodd each recorded a “Mulligan Tour Hole in One” with a net 1.
The first “Super Singles” event for all Mulligan Tour members is scheduled for Angus Glen North on Sunday, June 13. The next London weekend event is set for June 19 at Otter Creek….Round 2 in the “Battle of the Creeks.” Register today to be a part of the fun.
